As a result today’s CCI primers are more sensitive, easier to seat and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before. They utilize modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes for the cleanest burn possible. Essentially a magnum primer burns with more intensity than a standard LR primer. They are intended for use in a larger case burning more powder (generally known as magnum cartridges, but not always). If you use a standard LR primer in a magnum case you MAY get inconstant ignition of the powder. Winchester WLR – This is said to be the hottest non-magnum primer, and is hard enough to be used in semi-autos. (Sometimes refered to as Winchester LR 8 1/2) CCI BR-2 – The “match” version of 200 ,Remington 9 1/2 Primers in Stock Large Rifle Magnum Box of 1000 (10 Trays of 100) Every Remington primer is made up of a number of subcomponents that have been assembled to extremely tight tolerances. I boughts this product for perimeter detection. I have a trip wire system that when trip wire is tripped these are set off. it has a noise to scare no danger it’s safe. I have not had any fail me yet. I will definitely buy this product time and time again.

I just got an historic M57 7.62×25 Tokarev, so this is my first foray into hand loading for pistol. Funny, I am finding that 100 primers don’t last as long for pistol as they do for large rifles. CCI has been my old familiar friend in hand loading.
